Hi Team,

I wish everyone that is observing Memorial Day a blessed, safe and

happy Holiday. I hope your weekend is a good kick off for Summer.

A couple of fellow surfers have asked about Memorial Day and I am

going to jot down a bit here.

Memorial Day / Decoration Day is a National holiday in America to

honor our military and other loved ones that have died. The last Monday

of May is the official date but we seem to combine it with the start

of the summer months and gather our families for cook outs, picnics

and such. We fly our flags half mast and attend grand parades with a

large military showing. All of this is done while remembering and sharing

about the ones that we have lost. Many of us also send our prayers up

that all the men and women still in the military - overseas and at home -

have a safe journey back to their loved ones.

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

Hello Team,

New Team members from the past two weeks are Max , Jude
and Ned. Phillip has been busy promoting W2URT in several
other exchanges and chat rooms. Phil we thank you! Welcome
to all three of you. You are doing great and working hard! :)

We also have several invites/requests pending and a couple
of older members working to return. Again please if you see

Tonight Rob has the RobsNetWorkers Conference dedicated
to Randy R.'s new exchange "Top Flight Traffic" which just
launched this week. Everyone turn out in support and bring
a friend! Oh and Rob has a 'special' door opener - from his

I would also like to up the ante for tonite - I will draw at the end of the conference for a $10
cash prize (If we get 50 people in). You can add this to the correspondence you send out today.
